Hi, Here is a little about my experiences about this DMR radio.
I have now bought a cheap DMR mobile radio from China for about 100,- USD. I bought it from this seller.
After testing it is ok for use as an amateur radio. I have only tested it on a "hotspot" locally and not on repeaters. Whether it works as a real Tier2 DMR I do not know?
As a choice, all low-cost radios from China are unfortunately not fully developed and have some technical problems. I have found some but it can be fixed with a little modification.
Here are some mistakes I found: I see that it is on TX too high at about 2KHz. So then I adjusted the program about 2 KHz down, and it works fine. I have problems with it sometimes choosing to use B as TX when I am in the A area. So here I selected permanent A by holding down the A/B button for a long time. So then B is turned off.
